First BLOG post!

WELCOME TO THE FARM!

Hey guys! I am so excited to finally have my website up and running! I love that I have a place where I can create all kinds of content for you. I will start this first blog off by showing you what I am up to right now. It’s January and currently below freezing outside. You would think that nothing flower farming related would be going on but that is definitely not the case! I am busy starting hundreds of Spring flowers in soil blocks. Flowers such as Lisianthus, Scabiosa, Snapdragons, Stock, Statice just to name a few!

When it is warm(er!) outside, I am busy weeding my fall planted flowers. This group of flowers is known as Hardy Annuals and boy are they hardy! These will be some of the first flowers to start blooming this Spring. I can hardly wait!

I have also been designing for small corporate events and parties. Although I am passionate about buying local flowers, I am thankful that flowers are available from outside sources in the winter. Flowers just bring people joy and we need them all the time!

This blog was definitely short and sweet. Until next one!
